Having a wide field of vision while shooting underwater allows the photographe to get closer to the subject, reducing the water column between the the subject and the front of the lens, The wide angle air lens can be used in conjunction with the NA-LX5 to restore the full high-quality Leica 24mm wide angle field of view.

It comes with a 67mm thread and can be mounted as a wet lens whilst underwater amaking sure that you dont have to return to the shore or  boat in order to change from macro to wide angle shooting.
